Vascular Lesion

Broken vessels (telangiectasia) are small surface veins appearing as red, purple or blue that can occur on the legs or in fact anywhere on the body. Although they are quite common, their appearance can cause some distress and embarrassment for those who have them.

Laser treatment can treat these vascular lesions and you can be rid of embarrassing broken veins or red spots after a few treatment sessions and have clear looking legs for summer.

Laser emits light which is absorbed by blood vessels, heating them to point where they are destroyed. Following treatment, the vessels are naturally dispersed as they are re-absorbed by the body, leaving little or no trace of the original lesion. Before laser treatment a thin layer of chilled gel is applied to the skin to aid light absorption by the vessel. The light is then traced over the entire vessel to be treated. The chilled gel is removed, and the area cooled. During the treatment, protective eyewear will be worn.
