If you have booked online you also agree to attend the appointment you have booked. So that you understand our Terms and Conditions please take the time to read through this information carefully.
Should any client of Manchester Massage be deemed to be using inappropriate behaviour in any form towards our staff, both front of the house and in the therapy rooms, they will be asked to leave immediately and no refund of appointment fees will be given. This shall apply to requests for sexual favours, or behaviour of a manner by which the therapist would feel intimidated or embarrassed. Bullying in any form will not be tolerated.
Clients who by any means try to book in the future after being requested to leave or banned, by using another name, using someone else to book for them etc., upon being recognised at reception will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be given for an unfulfilled appointment.
You can make an appointment with Vita Beauty Salon Ltd trading as Manchester Massage in a variety of ways including online through our website, via Treatwell, or by purchasing vouchers occasionally offered through sites including Wowcher and Groupon, or by telephone, for a variety of appointment durations from 1 Hour to 2 Hours and for a range of massage types.
Appointments made online or by telephone, either as a new client, or for returning clients making use of the Loyalty Card benefits, must be paid in full at the point of booking in order to receive the advertised price reduction. Cancellations and Late Arrivals Conditions as below, still apply.
If you have booked via Treatwell, you will receive an email confirming all relevant details, if your booking is more than 2 days in advance you will also receive an email reminder from them 48 hours before your appointment.
If this is your first appointment at Manchester Massage you will receive a New Client Consultation Form before your appointment. Please take a few moments to complete this information as we will not be able to treat you without these details and completion on the day may be part of your appointment time. Clients are therefore advised to arrive 10 minutes early in order to complete this form. Returning clients are also asked to complete a brief update form regarding any changes in medication, medical treatments or in the current climate any contact with Covid 19.
During the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, customers of Vita Beauty Salon Ltd trading as Manchester Massage are politely requested to wear face coverings at all times on the premises and to follow the guidelines set out by the government and implemented within the salon.
Because Vita Beauty Salon Ltd trading as Manchester Massage takes all protocols as essential in the fight against coronavirus, we draw our customers’ attention to the 1-hour massage now lasing for 50 minutes contact time to allow for enhanced cleaning between clients in the therapy rooms. The 2-hour massage will consist of 1 hour and 50 minutes contact time accordingly.
CANCELLATIONS & LATE ARRIVALS
Cancellation Policy: 24 hours.
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you find it necessary to cancel your appointment or you wish to reschedule it. Failure to attend an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation will incur the full cost of your appointment. This is necessary as we will almost certainly not be able to fill your appointment slot at short notice, but still need to cover the cost of our therapists. Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice is not possible and will be charged at the full cost of the booking.
We would appreciate your assistance by cancelling as soon as possible if an unforeseeable event is potentially likely to prevent you from attending, maybe illness or the onset of severe weather conditions. 24 Hours’ notice of cancellation is still applicable.
It is important that your agreed appointment time and the duration of your treatment is adhered to. We do understand that on occasion something may happen and you may arrive a little later or have to leave earlier than originally planned. Naturally, we appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can get in the way of your plans, but we are not able to make up the missed time by over-running or adding any lost time to future appointments.
Vita Beauty Salon Ltd trading as Manchester Massage cannot be held as liable for time lost due to traffic incidents, roadworks or other delays. It is in the hands of the client to make appropriate plans for any unexpected eventualities which may impede their prompt arrival by allowing extra travelling time.
Should the client be delayed, the only time available for their treatment will be the time remaining, as it is not possible to over-run the time slot in view of other clients waiting in the reception area.
Clients are requested to keep in contact with reception if they are delayed. But if no contact is made, after 30 minutes the appointment will be marked as a no-show.
All client information and clinical records will be safeguarded by VitraBeauty Salon Ltd trading Manchester Massage to remain confidential. We will not share, sell or distribute any of the information you provide to us without your consent unless where required to do so by law.
Consultations and client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.
So that we may prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we make full use of security measures to protect your information from access by persons who are not authorised to see them and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We also have in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure your personal data which we have collected online. We shall retain your personal data only for a reasonable period of time or as long as the law requires.
Each therapist working for Vita Beauty Salon Ltd trading as Manchester Massage will have access to these records only for the duration of their employment with Manchester Massage and solely for the purpose of ensuring that you are provided with the most appropriate treatments.
HEALTH & SAFETY
All therapists at Vita Beauty Salon Ltd trading Manchester Massage are qualified and are covered by professional and public indemnity insurance for the therapies that they provide.
Because of the nature of a massage therapy and the necessity for close contact, all Manchester Massage practitioners will maintain high standards of personal hygiene and our clients are politely requested to ensure that they also maintain a high standard of personal hygiene. Clients are reminded that if they are in the habit of not wearing underwear, this is not acceptable for a salon environment and they must be suitably clothed.
Should one of our therapists be unwell, suffering from a cold or infection or general ill health, they will not be allowed to attend the area for their work because of the risk of cross-contamination. This may result in Manchester Massage contacting you to inform you of the circumstances at the earliest opportunity to offer alternative suitable arrangements.
Clients are equally advised not to attend for a massage if they are unwell, suffering from a cold or infection or general ill health, if in doubt please reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment time as a shorter cancellation time will still apply, as per our Cancellation Policy. Clients below the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This parent or guardian must give their written permission before the agreed massage plan can be performed and will be required to counter-sign the New Client Consultation Form. They will be requested to remain in the room during the appointment so that they shall be present throughout the treatment.
Vita Beauty Salon Ltd trading as Manchester Massage retains the right to refuse any treatment if a client is physically or verbally abusive towards any therapist, or demonstrates inappropriate, aggressive or sexual behaviour or does not wear appropriate levels of underwear. Such behaviour will result in a ban from Manchester Massage and may potentially result in criminal proceedings.
Vita Beauty Salon Ltd trading as Manchester Massage provides massage therapy and bodywork in a variety of forms, but none of these bodywork therapies are a substitute for professional medical care or counselling. None of the therapists at Manchester Massage will diagnose, prescribe medication or medical treatment of any kind, unless they are individually qualified to do so, and will always recommend referral to a GP or other qualified medical specialist or practitioner.
It is the duty of the client to provide accurate and true medical and personal information, given to the best of their knowledge and to keep Manchester Massage fully acquainted with any change in details of medication, symptoms, medical concerns or treatments for which they are presently being investigated or undergoing treatment.
All therapists at Manchester Massage may decline treatment to any client or part of their body with just and reasonable cause. Manchester Massage reserves the right to terminate any appointment at any point if they believe that it is not safe or in the client’s best interest to continue further. Equally, the client has the right to refuse, modify or terminate their treatment at any point, regardless of prior consent given.
Personal items during your time at the ManchesterMassage premises should be kept with you and VitaBeauty Salon Ltd trading asManchesterMassage is not responsible for any damage or loss of any such items.
